18th Annual Star Awards Star Awards is the San Diego Performing Arts league's annual tribute to volunteers. We take this special occasion to recognize thousands of volunteers who devote tens of thousands of hours each year to enrich San Diego 's cultural environment. Each year, nearly 1,000 guests attend, drawing a broad based-audience of highly educated, professional, and active group of men and women. Business exposure for sponsors and advertisers in the Commemorative Program Journal, offers valuable visibility, outreach, and good will.
