The League provides a collective voice for the arts by engaging the business community, elected officials and arts groups in meaningful dialogue and activities to heighten awareness of the arts and foster collaboration to maintain a vital cultural capital in San Diego County.

The League actively advocates to elected and civic leaders on issues that impact our members, including arts funding, censorship, buildings and facilities, arts education, business support, media coverage, and other legislative and community issues that affect the arts. The League is a founding member of the California Arts Advocates and the San Diego Regional Arts and Culture Coalition.
