Workshops and Training

Business Volunteer for the Arts (BVA) Training & Orientation
Enhance your management skills by working directly with a non-profit arts organization through Business Volunteers for the Arts!  Being a BVA gives business professionals the opportunity to apply their skills and experience to meaningful community service, interact with people active in the creative process, and expand their personal interest in the arts.  All prospective BVAs are required to complete an application (download BVA application) and interview.  Qualified candidates will be invited to attend a 1/2 day training/orientation session.

National Arts Marketing Project (NAMP)

San Diego OnBoard
Training for Board Candidates - In collaboration with Non-Profit Management Solutions, the San Diego Performing Arts League hosts the OnBoard Candidate training for individuals interested in joining the board of directors of an arts organization. Completion of the training is required for individuals to be matched with an arts organization board through the San Diego OnBoard program.
