JOB DESCRIPTION — TICKET SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE

Position :     Ticket Services Representative I

Department :     Ticket Services

Reports to:     Ticket Services Manager

Status:       Part-time hourly

Salary:        $10 / hour

 

SUMMARY

Ticket Services Representative I assures high-quality customer service to all LJMS ticket buyers and donors while adhering to LJMS ticket policies and procedures. The position is responsible for completely fulfilling and processing ticket orders by phone, mail, fax, internet or in person. This position will have a functional knowledge of all aspects of the current ticketing system and utilize this knowledge for variety of operational tasks. The position manages and may also perform research and outreach to specifically targeted audiences. The position serves as on-site box office representative at selected LJMS performances and events. Also responsible for directing incoming administrative calls.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years experience in customer service required; box office experience preferred.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and working understanding of databases.
  • Proficiency in current ticketing software used at LJMS
  • Working some evenings and weekends is required.
  • Interest in classical music or performing arts a plus.
  • High school completion, or equivalent
