Diabolus in Musica - Machaut's Mass of Notre-Dame

Diabolus in Musica, an eight-voice ensemble directed by Antoine Guerber, specializes in French music of the 12th and 13th centuries. They have been recognized with accolades for renewing the interpretation of medieval music and for their recordings, including the Diapason d'Or and Choc du Monde de la Musique awards. Pierre Hantaï Harpsichord music of JS Bach

Pierre Hantaï, one of the most exciting and original harpsichordists around, makes his long-awaited San Diego debut sponsored by SDEMS as part of the Performing Arts at The Neurosciences Institute program. A former student of Arthur Haas and Gustav Leonhardt and prizewinner at the Bruges Harpsichord Competition, Hantaï has gained international recognition thanks to his several award-winning recordings and his brilliant and insightful playing.
